Recycling Our Textiles The treatment of waste textiles has always been of core concern for Gravalot. Each year 26.2 million tonnes of CO2 is produced in the UK due to textiles, and 350,000 tonnes worth of textiles is sent to landfill. At Gravalot, we make small production runs for each collection, which eliminates our need for sales of unsold stock and also reduces the amount of waste we generate. Any small amount of unsold stock has typically been defected, then passed onto local recyclers and charities, to ensure our buyers can claim ownership to the very best quality that we have on offer.
