Care guides

  • General instructions

    These are general instructions for different material types that we use. Please consult the product's care label for more specific guides.

    • For stains and marks, blot the spot and do not rub. Rubbing can break the surface of the material or cause it to bobble. Then wash the garment immediately
    • Wash at 30 degrees
    • Wash inside out
    • Iron inside out or using an ironing cloth for materials like wool
    • Use a cashmere comb or an electric de-fuzzer to remove pilling
  • Cotton: Jersey

    Easy to care for, cotton is fully machine washable. If worn and treated with care, your garment will last for a long time.

    How to care for this material

    • Wash at 60°C+
    • Use colour safe bleach
    • Tumble dry (on low settings)
    • Iron at higher temperatures
    • Normal wash cycle
    • Use silicone-based fabric softeners where possible
    • Do not spin or remove before spin cycle starts
  • Cotton: Wax printed

    Brightly coloured with mesmerizing textures, we recommend cold hand washing garments with these elements to preserve colours and textures.

    Our materials have patterns printed on both sides which is the true sign of a quality wax print.

    How to care for this material

    • Wash at 30°C
    • Do not bleach
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Iron on medium heat
    • Do not dry clean
    • Line/hang dry
    • Iron inside out
    • Do not spin or remove before spin cycle starts
  • Wool

    Wools don’t need as much washing as other fibers and will last much longer if spot cleaned between washes where required and aired out to dry.

    While washing, avoiding high temperatures, friction and using a mild detergent will help prevent the wool from pilling and felting.

    How to care for this material

    • Wash at 40°C
    • ½ load capacity
    • Short spin / gentle cycle
    • Do not bleach
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Iron on medium heat
    • Line/hang dry
    • Brush/comb after drying
  • Cashmere

    Cashmere is soft, light-weight and durable and is able to keep the wearer very warm. Genuine cashmere fiber creates one of the softest, warmest, most comfortable garments money can buy.

    Treat stains as quickly as possible, with mild detergents and rinse immediately with cold water.

    • Wash at 30°C
    • Hand wash without twisting
    • Do not bleach
    • Do not tumble dry
    • Iron on medium heat
    • Line/hang dry
    • Brush/comb after drying
  • Leather

    Leather is a durable, long-lasting and versatile natural material. It is created through the tanning of hides and skins of animals, where different tanning methods are used to preserve it against decay and make it pliable or supple when dry.

    • Leave leather to dry at room temperature if it gets wet, avoid direct heat
    • Leave leather to dry in its natural shape
    • If your garments are matching eg. Jacket and trouser; wash at the same time
    • Leather protecter spray can help to maintain the leather
    • Dry clean/specialist leather cleaner
